TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Tampa Police say Bakari Parks turned himself into the Hillsborough County jail after detectives identified him as the suspect responsible for shooting a four-year-old child Monday. 

Police say parks fired a gun during an argument with another individual and one of the bullets traveled 250 yards north and hit 4-year-old Renaldo Moore in the arm as he walked with his mother at West Spruce Street and North Oregon Avenue.

Tampa Police say Parks was charged with two counts of attempted first degree felony murder with a firearm and is currently being held without bond.

Police also said the child was released from the hospital last night and is recovering at home.
