HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA.com) -The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office will present red light camera crash data to the county commission Wednesday. Commissioner Les Miller put the red light cameras on the agenda after leaders in Tampa and St. Petersburg voted to not extend contracts with their camera companies. Unincorporated Hillsborough County has 10 cameras at six intersections.

"People see what happened in
Tampa and St. Petersburg and now they're looking at Hillsborough, like, 'what are they going to do there?'" Miller said.

Miller backs the cameras for now, and is even open-minded to adding some, but wants to hear what the sheriff's office has to say.
