Fire at storage facility in Palm Harbor

PALM HARBOR, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Fire wipes out part of a storage facility in Palm Harbor. It holds R-Vs and other vehicles. 

Palm Harbor Deputy Fire Chief Bob Markford says it's destroyed one of three storage buildings on the site. Some items in the building next door suffered heat damage.

PCSO said 80 victims have items damaged. Nobody was hurt in the fire at Florida West Covered Storage on Alternate U-S 19 near Klosterman.

Firefighters were on their way to a house fire, when they saw the flames and heard the explosions.

Firefighters are still dousing hot spots.
