TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) - Some fast food workers in Tampa, and around the country, are walking off the job Thursday.  They want to call attention to their push for better pay and better treatment.

The protestors are calling for wages to be raised to 15 dollars an hour.  They also want to be able to join unions, without retaliation from their employers.

They will be holding demonstrations on Thursday morning at the McDonald's at 1520 W. Kennedy, and in the afternoon at the Arby's at 2230 E. Fletcher.
