TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA.com) - We have good news for those of you who've been following the story of Hope, the Arcadia dog that was doused with kerosene and lit on fire.

Hope is scheduled to be released from 24-hour care on Tuesday.

Hope's former owner, Larry Wallace, 66, is charged with arson and animal cruelty in connection with the abuse.

BluePearl Veterinary in Tampa has been caring for Hope since a short time after she was burned on March 20. She required treatments every hour. BluePearl provides care for animal trauma cases.
