UPDATE: Officials say the lockdown was lifted at Armwood High School and students were dismissed at the normal time (3:00pm). Sheriff’s deputies and school security searched the entire campus and did not find a gun.

SEFFNER, FL (WFLA) - Armwood High School in Seffner is on lockdown after a student brought a knife and bullets to school, according to Hillsborough County school officials. 

Around 9:30 a.m., a student reported to school resource officers that he was verbally threatened by another student. Subsequently, the 9th grade male student accused of the threat was found with bullets and a knife in his backpack.

The school is on lockdown while Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies search the campus for other weapons.
